interconnected world. We often hear it on the news: Nations violating
citizens’ human rights and disagreements about what constitutes a human
rights violation. However, legal rights and human rights are
distinguished by the fact that legal rights are granted and human rights
are intrinsic. https://ironline.american.edu.
The workshop on " The Basic Understanding of Human Rights, Genocide/ KR
and Building a Culture of Peace in the Community " was conducted in
Kampot province,Cambodia for 31 young students from communities on 15 May 2016. all student has learned the root of the human rights concept is the
idea that all people should be able to live with dignity. Violations of
our human rights amount to denials of our basic humanity. Khmer Rouge history contributed to the workshop for participants to understand human rights in Cambodia in 1975-1979.
